Swapping from a mechanical fan setup to an electric fan has its advantages, but there are two problems that always get in the way: cost and complexity. A new cooling fan system from Delta PAG, however, has changed the landscape for cooling systems. Their new fan system has an easy three-wire hook-up and costs $325. The unit includes a built-in self-cooled controller that varies air movement from 1,000 to 2,500 cfm, and its new brushless motor technology also lasts longer than traditional "brushed" motors. Moreover, an on-board controller features a digital temp and speed readout with programming buttons; it needs no laptop to program and it's replaceable if the need arises. The kit is made in the USA too, and includes the fan (12-, 14-, and 16-inch available), speed/temp controller, temp sensor, and wiring.
