Cash, trips and a shot at fame... it’s all up for grabs as Prestolite Performance searches for a new spokesperson for one of its most venerable brands.The designer, manufacturer, and distributor of auto racing, performance, and appearance products is proud to announce The Search for Mr. Gasket, a nationwide contest that will end with one lucky fan becoming the new face of the brand for a year.
The winner of "The Search for Mr. Gasket" will earn a one-year contract to star in television and print ads, to appear at select Prestolite Performance promotional visits, plus he gets $2,500.
Entering the contest is easy! Participants can go to TheSearchForMrGasket.com and upload a photo that shows them and their obsession with cars, along with a brief description of why they should be Mr. Gasket. Ten finalists will be selected on Jan. 1, 2013, and showcased on TheSearchforMrGasket.com for a public vote. The top vote-getter will then be crowned the new Mr. Gasket in early February!
