Last month, we told you how one of the biggest distributors in the Northwest—RE Powell—had signed on to distribute VP Racing Fuel products at retail service stations across the region. This month, we hear that Duncan Oil—which sells to over 200 retailers in 14 states throughout the Midwest and Southeast—had signed a similar deal with VP Racing Fuels. Some of the states that Duncan Oil operates in include Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, Tennessee, Virginia and Florida. Duncan Oil’s retail outlets particularly like the “boutique fuel” products the VP brand offers, which is great for growth—and even better for hot rodders looking for the hard-to-find fuels they need. Also part of VP’s deal with the Ohio-based Duncan Oil is VP’s dispenser-based Fuel System Cleaner and Power Boost products (“Madditives”), which you can see are based right at the pump. We told you we were hopeful that VP Fuels programs would spread to the rest of the country, and it looks like that is happeneing!
