The dust has settled and the results are in for the inaugeral PHR Muscle Car Of The Year competition. The Detroit Speed & Engineering crew won it with their 1966 Mustang and the complete story will be in the December 2012 issue of PHR. The competition is comprised of new muscle car projects built in the past 12 months that represent the pinnacle of the hot rodding hobby in terms of all-around performance. We tested all ten invited competitors July 9 at National Trail Raceway in a three-part competition that included drag racing, speed-stop, and autocross tests.
