You may remember the '71 "g-Force" 'Cuda that Johnson's Hot Rod Shop built for Bob Johnson back in 2005--we featured that over-the-top Street Machine Of The Year winner several years ago. Well, Bob hasn't stopped dreaming, and this latest creation from Johnson's Hot Rod Shop is built from the wing tank of a 1950's Lockheed Super Constellation wing tank. Much larger than traditional "belly tank" dry lakes racers of the fifties, this is actually a two-seater. It's equipped with period aircraft seats, switches, steering tiller, and gauges--and you'd swear it could actually fly, except it has no wings. In fact, power comes from a lowly Toyota four cylinder with Saab superchargers. Check out this video we shot at the 7th Annual Nashville Nationals!
