The 1970 Nova and 1968 Firebird of Nick and Chris Hall

We head to the Phoenix area to get the scoop on two very interesting brothers from England who are here for just one thing--muscle cars!

We first met Chris and Nick Hall at the Goodguys event in Scottsdale last fall. We were impressed with their pristine cars--a 1968 Firebird which belongs to Chris Hall, and a 1970 Nova that belongs to Nick Hall. They were eagerly pounding their machines through the autocross rather than posing in the car show, but that was only the beginning of the story. Both Nick and Chris emigrated to the United States to be closer to a good supply of American muscle cars and their parts. The love affair with Yank iron began in England when their family started buying and enjoying American cars--starting with a lowly Pinto, and progressing up through the ranks. The entire family would take vacations in the U.S.--not going to tourist attractions like Disney or Yellowstone--but to cars shows and swap meets.

Then last week we headed out to Phoenix where Nick and Chris now live, and we shot both cars for a feature. We'll have them in PHR in a few months, but in the meantime, check out the video of the shoot here!
