These new Quick-Latch quick release hood pins have classic style, but an innovative answer to locking the hood in place.
Ordinary hood pins can rust and some use lanyards that can scratch your paint. Quick-Latch eliminates both of those common problems with these push button style hood pin. A single push of a button unlatches the hood; the pin stays in the down position. When the hood is closed, it re-latches the pin, causing it to pop back up.
There are three distinct styles available: low profile, twist-lock, and GT. They are all available in a clear-anodized, polished, or painted finish. The pins install easily with basic hand tools.
Quick-Latch also makes a Mini-Latch that can be used to fasten anything from air cleaner covers and trim panels, to bathroom drawers and boat cabinets. They’re about the size of a quarter and offer the same reliable fastening performance of their bigger counterparts.
