Wilwood Engineering has recently introduced a new D154 parking brake rear kits for Ford, GM, and Mopar muscle cars that feature the latest in disc brake technology. These kits provide better performance plus an integral parking brake, and are a great match for their recently released D154 dual-piston front kits. The heart of the kit is a forged billet D154 GM Metric two-piston floating-mount caliper, which helps to minimize pad knock-back in axles that are prone to movement. Calipers work in conjunction with large 12.19-inch vented rotors with an integral parking drum. The brake bracket houses the drum shoe parking brake, and is an easy, bolt-on installation. Optional SRP drilled and slotted and red powder coated calipers are also available. Wilwood’s BP-10 high performance street pads round out the kit. Other brake pad compounds, including those for off-road applications, are also available.
