Flowmaster Scavenger Headers

Flowmaster has developed a new line of headers that infuse competition level technology into an affordable package.

Flowmaster has been offering quality cat-back and header-back exhausts for years, but that’s where the Exhaust Technology Company’s product line stopped. With the release of its Scavenger Series Elite Headers, tubular exhaust manifolds that incorporate many of the most desirable features and benefits of high-end headers into a competitively-priced package worthy of wearing the Flowmaster badge, its customers are now covered from the heads to the tailpipes.

Quality was the utmost concern during the development of the Scavenger Series headers and it shows as Flowmaster made laser-cut 3/8-inch-thick flanges standard on the entire line as well as 14-guage 409S stainless steel primary tubing. To ensure leak-free connections, Flowmaster equips all of the long-tube designs with modern ball flange collectors with the corresponding reducers that eliminate the need for gaskets associated with traditional three-bolt collectors. Elite headers of all configurations receive a high-temp silver ceramic coating before leaving Flowmaster headquarters.

The initial Scavenger Series lineup that’s backed with a limited one-year warranty includes fitment for many popular small block and big block GM muscle cars along with popular vintage and newer Ford Mustangs and late-model 5.7L-equipped Mopars. Flowmaster also included trucks like the 1997-2010 F-150 and 2002-2010 Silverados under the line’s launch and most of the late-model Scavenger Series headers come with CARB E.O. numbers to keep them legal in all 50 states.

Designed for an easy at-home installation, Flowmaster includes all gaskets and necessary hardware with the Scavenger Series headers. Depending on the application, Flowmaster has multiple primary tube diameters as well as shorty or full-length headers.
