It’s that time of year when we make our pilgrimage to the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio for the biggest custom car show of the year—the 14th Annual Goodguys Nationals. I’ll be there, along with PHR publisher Ed Zinke, and PHR photographer, Robert McGaffin. If you are in town for it, make sure to look for us. We’ll be looking for cool cars to feature, and covering the Goodguys AutoCross for some event coverage in our November issue. For the most part, I’ll be hanging out at the autocross snapping action shots and handing out tech sheets, while Mr. McGaffin will be grabbing some killer cars for feature stories. And don't forget the Street Machine Of The Year competition, which we'll be all over!
We’ll be plenty busy during the show, but if you want to catch us while we’re chilling, just head over to the Thuman Café on Friday night for a Thurmanator burger, or hang out with us in the parking lot of the Courtyard by Marriott (7411 Vantage Dr., Columbus, OH) as we enjoy fine cigars at sunset. And don’t forget, tomorrow is National Collector Car Appreciation Day—so even if you’re not in Columbus, make sure to drive your ride with pride!
