Today while visiting the Picture Car Warehouse, a company that builds movie cars, we found the coolest minivan ever.

Ted Moser owns Picture Car Warehouse in Northridge, CA, and while doing a photo shoot for an upcoming story on movie hot rods, we found something cool at Moser’s shop that puts even Dodge’s new “Man Van” to shame. Moser’s company was approached to build vehicles for a movie starring Ben Affleck called “The Town.” The movie treatment called for a minivan that needed to run handily from the cops while smoking the rear tires sideways. (Yeah, we know, movie producers have really been hitting the crack pipes hard in Hollywood these days.) Moser isn’t one to screw around, so he built two 2003 Dodge Caravans, trashing the stock drivelines and equipping them with 350ci Chevy crate motors, Turbo 350 transmissions, and Ford 8.8-inch rearends. Both have full cages. Neither is street legal, but you might be able to pull it off if you lived somewhere in the boondocks. Check out the movie trailer here. The Caravan can be seen at least four times, and 21 seconds into the trailer, you can see the minivan smoking the rear tires while drifting sideways!
