This piece is a direct factory replacement for all Pontiac V-8 engines, and is made from 17-gauge nickel cadmium-plated steel. The new Tomahawk valley pan’s reshaped underside baffle provides clearance for hydraulic roller and solid roller lifters. When running a hydraulic roller or solid lifter roller cam you will no longer have oil control issues created by the use of non-baffled aftermarket valley pans.
