I've chosen my five favorite entries for the 2009 PHR Photo Contest: this is for 1st place.

This thing looks tough. Despite Johnny's no gravel, dirt, or grass rule, I think the photo under the overpass really works. The dirty dark background matches the car's rough look. Owner and photographer Brian Ober clearly had a lot of fun shooting this car. His girlfriend suggested he shoot it down by the docks since the car is such a boat, and he did! That particular photo doesn't do anything for me, but it's a cool idea. The condition of the car is especially important to me because it goes against what most think would win a contest. There isn't a lot of money into the car, nor is the camera at a professional level.

(This is not a winner for the contest, just one of my favorite entries)
