I've chosen my five favorite entries for the 2009 PHR Photo Contest: this is for 4th place.
Corey Hewitt really loves his '80 Malibu. It's the kind of car you look at not expecting to love it, but you can't pull away. Corey has had this car since he was 15, and has put a ton of work into it since then. He has taken the stocker engine out and gave it new life with a mild cam, Dart heads, and some healthy exhaust work. It's a source of fun for the whole family, especially Corey's wife Karen. The photographer took some nice shots. We opened the contest to amateurs and professionals, giving everyone a chance. The motion shot we suspect it was a lucky shot out of dozens of blurred pictures but never the less its pretty impressive! The top photo looks like it should be on a car polish label.
(This is not a winner for the contest, just one of my favorite entries)
