I've chosen my five favorite entries for the 2009 PHR Photo Contest: this is for 5th place.
This '65 Mustang is owned by 53-year-old Dan Melville of Rohnert Park, California. He has loved the early Mustang fastbacks for as long as he liked cars and had his heart set on a '67 Fastback. About five years ago, he spotted this one and couldn't pass it up. As a present to himself, his wife suggested he get the car painted for his 50th birthday. He has done much of the fabrication work himself. His 18-year-old son Craig is an aspiring photographer and snapped some really great shots of the car. There are a couple photo-fouls such as the front wheels pointing the wrong way, and improper lighting, but I really like the look of the photos despite that. My favorite was the one taken on the gravel in some sort of warehouse.
(This is not a winner for the contest, just one of my favorite entries)
