This year’s PHR Photo Contest sponsored by Nitto Tires produced several hundred entries, making it the largest participation ever!

We’re very excited about the results of this year’s photo contest. It turned out to be more popular than anyone ever imagined, with hundreds of entries received. We have to give major props to Nitto Tires for stepping up with an awesome Grand Prize—a set of four Nitto tires of the winner’s choice. We’re guessing that was part of the outstanding response, but it may also be partly due to the fact that we promised to publish every single entry we got that met all our contest rules.

When we rolled out the contest, we promised that we’d announce the winner on September 10th, however, due to the sheer number of entries, it is not possible for us to make a decision by then. There are so many good ones that we’re going to need some extra time to sort through them, so we’re pushing back our announcement to September 22. This will give us enough time to examine each entry with the care it deserves!

I’d like to personally thank all those folks who took the time to enter our photo contest. You’ve made this year’s event the best one yet. We know you’re looking forward to seeing the January issue with the complete results, which will be on the newsstand November 24. If you entered the contest, and are waiting for the Grand Prize announcement, please check back here on this blog spot on September 22!
