New Hotchkis A-Body Mopar  Adjustable Strut and Steering Rods
Eliminate Sloppy Steering, Improve Overall Handling and Driver Control.

New Adjustible Strut Rods for Mopars

The 1967-76 Mopar A-Body is one of the last great performance bargains of the muscle car era, with pony cars like the Dart, Duster, Demon and early ‘Cuda gaining popularity  thanks to wide availability, V8 power and a budget-friendly price tag. Now you can bolt-on improved handling, driver feedback and control with new Hotchkis Adjustable Strut Rods and Steering Rods.

Hotchkis Adjustable Strut Rods are designed to positively locate the lower arm and maintain proper geometry under hard cornering. Each rod is built from exceptionally strong and lightweight TIG welded 7/8-inch steel tubing and features 5/8-inch high-articulation rod ends and CNC bent mounting brackets. When combined with the recommended polyurethane lower control arm bushings, these Strut Rods eliminate flex and allow the suspension system to work as intended without geometry changes - which dramatically improves cornering performance, traction, and driver confidence.

The second critical component to an A-Body upgrade is a steering system that can transmit driver input effectively. Hotckis Sport Steering Rods are an adjustable design that feature 5/8-inch high-articulation rod ends with lightweight hex-style aluminum adjustable sleeves. Designed to be used in conjunction with Geometry Corrected A-Arms and Adjustable Strut Rods, the Steering Rods reduce bumpsteer and significantly improve steering response yielding precise steering feel and positive driver feedback. Both rods are designed, track-tested and manufactured in the USA from high-quality domestic materials.

Applications Available: 1971-76 Plymouth Scamp, 1970-76 Plymouth Duster, 1967-69 Plymouth Barracuda, 1971-72 Dodge Demon and 1967-76 Dodge Dart. Hotchkis recommends pairing Steering and Strut Rods with Polyurethane Bushings and new Geometry Corrected Upper A-Arms.
