New from Toyo; The Proxes R888. This tire was made to compete in the highest levels of DOT tire racing.

•  Category:  R-Compound, Street Legal Competition Radial

•  Available Sizes:  13- to 19-inch rim diameters.  Widths range from 185 to 335mm with 60 down to 30-series profiles.

•  Description:  The Official Tire for Speed World Challenge®, the Proxes® R888™ by Toyo Tires® is an R-compound street legal competition radial which is ideal for road racing, track days and high-performance driving schools.  It features a semi-slick shoulder area to increase cornering force and a unidirectional tread pattern with v-shaped grooves to enhance wet traction and control.  A rounded outer shoulder helps to maintain tire contact, even during changes in suspension geometry.

A continuous center contact delivers excellent directional control during hard braking.  The Proxes R888’s 6/32nd-inch tread can be shaved for maximum dry traction.  


•  Speed Rating:  V (149-mph maximum), W (168-mph maximum) and Y (186-mph maximum)

•  Load Rating:  80 (992 lbs.) to 102 (1,874 lbs.)
