Project X has been getting around a lot lately, and PHR publisher, Ed Zinke, recently took the screaming yellow zonker out to visit Mickey Thompson Performance Tires and Wheels in Corona, CA. This location is a distribution center, where M/T keeps those tires rolling out to you readers. In fact, we’ve got a set of Sportsman S/Rs on Project X—they look great, and they’re up to the task. While Ed and X were there, one of Mickey Thompson’s traveling billboard rigs had just returned from an event, and we could not overlook the opportunity to stage the tri-five next to the rig. Project X and Mickey Thompson have been staples of the hot rodding biz for years, and it was great to see them together again.
