Project X Visits Mickey Thompson

Project X

We’ve been sneaking out with our famous ’57 Chevy and dropping in on some of our favorite companies.

Project X has been getting around a lot lately, and PHR publisher, Ed Zinke, recently took the screaming yellow zonker out to visit Mickey Thompson Performance Tires and Wheels in Corona, CA. This location is a distribution center, where M/T keeps those tires rolling out to you readers. In fact, we’ve got a set of Sportsman S/Rs on Project X—they look great, and they’re up to the task. While Ed and X were there, one of Mickey Thompson’s traveling billboard rigs had just returned from an event, and we could not overlook the opportunity to stage the tri-five next to the rig. Project X and Mickey Thompson have been staples of the hot rodding biz for years, and it was great to see them together again. Keep an eye out, as you'll never know where Popular Hot Rodding's Project X may appear next.
