CE is on the move with many new performance products for newer Mustangs, including this rollcage kit.

The most recent salvo of Detroit muscle cars is shamefully easy to make fast, and the latest iteration of the Mustang is leading the pack. Not only is the new Mustang super fast, but it’s extremely affordable, leaving lots of cash left in the kitty for go-fast upgrades like blowers, nitrous, turbos, heads, cams, and stroker kits. Before you know it, your ’stang is going 11.49 or faster down the quarter mile. If you frequent NHRA-sanctioned tracks, you know what that means: it’s roll cage time. The folks at Competition Engineering know their Mustangs, and if you’ve followed our very own ’93 Mustang Project Fox being built by contributor, Stephen Kim, you know that he’s relying on Competition Engineering to supply the cage for his 9-second big-block Ford. That very same engineering is now available for 2005-08 Mustangs as a 10-point roll bar in kit part No. C3140A. It includes 1 5/8-inch OD, .134-inch wall mild steel tubing, 1/8-inch thick steel mounting plates bent specifically for the vehicle, tube end notches for better fit and easy installation, and hoops that are designed specifically for new Mustangs.
