It was bound to happen, and Nickey Chicago did it first: they stuffed a 427-inch LS into the reborn Camaro.
Deja vu, it’s 1969 all over again. Just like back in the day, Nickey Chicago is the first to shoehorn a naturally aspirated 427ci engine into a new Camaro and get it on the streets of America! Engine builder, Wegner Motorsports, used only the best components, not to mention 40 years of engine building experience, to make this engine combination a reality. Many of the components have been developed and tested just for this Nickey exclusive package. This is one bad ass 427. It pulls hard all the way to 707 hp (6,800 rpm peak) measured at the flywheel using premium pump gas.

The Stage III Nickey Camaro is totally loaded too. According to the handout we got at the Goodguys show in Columbus, the Stage III comes with a high-performance rear differential, high-performance clutch and flywheel, a full custom racing rollcage, a fully tunable custom suspension package, the full Nickey interior treatment, Nickey 20-inch rims with redline tires, a custom Nickey air box, custom exhaust diverters, and either a supercharged or naturally aspirated LS engine with 700 hp (they aren’t saying if customers get to choose).
Cost for the Stage III Nickey Camaro is $60k, not including the base SS Camaro. To find out more about the Nickey Chicago Camaros (including Stages I and II), call route 66 Motorsports at 815-462-0090, or log on to www.rt66motorsports.com
