Under Construction feature update

In the June issue of PHR I wrote about this really phenomenal Camaro build by Denny Terzich of ProRides. You may remember his 2007 Drag Week entry that annihilated the competition.

This would really be a huge achievement since Pro Mod cars are just getting into the 6-second range, and there is no way they could drive 1,200 miles. You may be asking yourself, how is this possible? The simple answer is lots of power and fiberglass. Aside from the roof, the entire body is made from a composite material. He is looking everywhere drop more weight. He says the block has an extra 50-lbs of metal he doesn’t need. The goal is to get the total weight with driver down to 2,700 lbs to -allow the 2,000-horsepower big-block to really shine.

Recently he's put his block into the CNC machine to shed more weight.
