Yes! There is still an American auto manufacture that isn’t bankrupt or out of business! Ford Racing Division has invited a handful of people out to Detroit to see what’s new and cool. I was lucky enough to make the list and am sitting at LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) awaiting my flight to Michigan. I’ve never been to the city famous in the automotive industry so I am very excited to see what all the fuss is about.
I’m not privy to everything that will be going on just yet but I can say that there will be many Mustang Cobras out there with keys waiting in their ignitions. The main event is a bracket racing event coupling editors with new Ford products to drag race against each other to win Ford’s third annual Racing Innovational drag race title. I don’t have much experience drag racing so we’ll see how I fair!
