Every year, the San Diego area plays host to the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, and this year the PHR staff will be there in force. I’ll have Project g/28 (our ’76 Camaro) displayed at the Air Ride Technologies booth, and PHR Tech Editor, Liz Miles, will be making an appearance with her satin orange ’68 Camaro. We’ll be covering the car show action with our cameras, taking copious notes, and looking for future car features, so make sure you keep an eye out for us.
Two special attractions will also draw interested readers out to the show this weekend: the Muscle Machines Corral, where pumped-up muscle cars will be getting a lot of attention. We plan to check that out very closely for some special show coverage in the August issue of PHR. The other cool activity is the Street Challenge Auto Cross, where muscle cars and street rods get to put their iron to the test for low e.t. through the timed course. Both Liz and I will be trying our hand at that with our project cars, so if you live in the area, don’t miss it.
The show runs from Friday, April 3, through Sunday, April 5. For more information, log on to www.good-guys.com. Hope to see you there!
