This Camaro pulled off some quick times at this event.
This '69 Camaro, built by Tim McAmis Race Cars in Hawk Point, Missouri, was just quick enough to take home the win at the Super Chevy show in Fontana, California. The Goodguy's racing team had a successful weekend.
This only was driver Marc Meadors' second competitive race, though it didn't seem to matter. He pulled of 1/8-mile runs of 4.64, 4.38, 4.24, 4.18 and a 4.22 in the final to defeat renowned Pro Mod racer Paul Athey.
His goal is to run the Orlando World Street Nationals at Speedworld Dragway in the 32-car field Super Pro Street Class. Next up is West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association exhibition race April 24 & 25 at Sacramento Raceway.
