Today a year ago, I was hired as Popular Hot Rodding's Technical Editor. I knew what I was signing up for as far as work load and requirements go, but I didn't know what to expect.
I felt welcomed from day one, and never for a moment thought of wanting to go home. My previous job, at Boyd Coddington's shop did not give me the same feeling. I felt at home here, in my office, out in the field, taking pictures, and writing stories.
Before I knew it, my one-year mark came up. I can't believe its been so long. I am looking forward to another year here. I have had so many opportunities to learn with this job. You need to become an expert on any subject you are writing about, and doing the extra research has been a very rewarding task.
