If you’re looking for high-quality engine components on a budget, PRW has what you need with the performance credentials to back it up.
I concede that it’s partly my own fault that we didn’t discuss the huge success of Performance Racing Warehouse in our magazine coverage of the 2008 Jegs Engine Masters Challenge. Let’s be honest, when it comes to power parts, you don’t usually put engine dampers and flywheels at the top of the “glamorous parts” list. Of course, that’s the kind of problem that we all are guilty of: we usually don’t think about these very important parts until it’s too late to stop the damage.
It’s lucky for me that our editorial office is just a few blocks down the road from PRW. I drop by on a regular basis to chew the fat and talk about racing. Often, my pals at PRW will escort me back to their warehouse or their R&D room where they’re coking up yet another cool product line. These guys have racing in their blood, and since they’re Sportsman racers, they know what it’s like to run a program on a skinny kid budget. Naturally, when they decided to get involved as a contingency sponsor for the Jegs Engine Masters Challenge, I was pleased. “They ought to do well,” I thought.
PRW makes a lot of good stuff, and their dampers, balancers, and flywheels offer a ton of value for the dollar. Their SFI approved for racing too. Many of the Engine Masters Challenge competitors chose PRW, and a lot of them finished in the top six as finalists. We extend our congratulations to PRW and our competitors for a job well done.
