These connectors don't require any of the floor to be cut out, an important factor to deciding if the modification is right for you. They are constructed out of 1.5- X 3-inch steel tubing, that doesn't sacrifice ground clearance, most exhaust systems are lower than the connectors.
The rear section is weld-in, while the front is bolt on, with the option to weld. Think you may add a fancy front subframe later? bolt the connector on now, and weld then!
