Super Chevy Magazine builds a 1969 Camaro to help support the Armed Forces Foundation.

Super Chevy magazine built this stunning 1969 Camaro to support our Armed Forces Foundation, and they did it in just 118 days. Over forty aftermarket automotive manufacturers donated parts for it, and Route 66 Motorsports (New Lenox, IL) volunteered much of their time to build this project. After a few months of car shows, including SEMA, the Camaro will be sold at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in April 2009 in Palm Beach Florida. The proceeds will go to the Armed Forces Foundation to support veteran members, and returning soldiers in need. Project American Heroes was created to assist the Armed Forces Foundation and the services they provide.  To take part in this extraordinary program, please consider making a monetary donation to the Armed Force Foundation, or continue to visit the www.projectamericanheroes.net websites to follow this one-of-a-kind build.
