If you plan on converting your Mopar E- or B-body over to EFI, this new fuel tank assembly from XV Motorsports is the hot ticket.

XV Motorsports is quickly becoming to go-to outfit for savvy Mopar builders. They’re already known for their state-of-the-art suspension systems, fuel-injection conversions, and complete turnkey cars. That last item—turnkey cars—means that XV has had to do a lot of vehicle integration work that’s normally seen on new production cars. A good example of this would be the subset of clean-sheet designs needed to install a late-model Hemi into a ’70 Dodge Challenger.

That quest has produced a lot of cool parts, like this new fuel tank assembly. XV designed it as an easy bolt-in; it comes with a built-in EFI fuel pump rated to 500 hp (more than enough for a 6.2L Hemi swap). It looks 100 percent stock, but has an OE-style pump with quick connect fittings for your feed and return lines. The tank also accepts your stock sending unit and has an OE-quality pigtail connector. XV makes these tanks for E- and B-bodies, and costs $859.95. For more info, call 914-693-1122.
