Snap-On's new cordless ratchet: a welcome addition to your toolbox.

Power tool provides comfort and control without compromise

Snap-on Tools has introduced a 1/4-inch drive, 12-volt cordless ratchet—the first cordless ratchet from the company. The new compact power tool allows technicians to quickly remove nuts and bolts without compromising accessibility.

The cordless ratchet (part No. CTR2512) provides technicians with power (35 foot-pounds of torque) and speed (260 rpm) to quickly remove stubborn nuts and bolts. The tool’s heavy-duty motor is circuit protected to help prevent motor burn out. Also, the batteries charge in 25 minutes or less.

The US-assembled ratchet features a beveled spring that distributes force equally, causing less strain on the head of the tool. The head itself is an investment casting that has a non-separation design to increase its durability. To prolong tool life, the ratchet has a built-in grease fitting to help keep it lubricated. Additionally, the handle of the ratchet features a cushion grip that absorbs vibration and reduces user fatigue.

Customers can find out more about the new 1/4-inch Cordless Ratchet by contacting their local Snap-on representative, or by calling toll free 877-SNAPON-2 (877-762-7662). As of this time, no price was available on this unit, but similar ones from competing manufacturers run about $120.
