I believe most of the muscle cars I will ever own will have the battery in the trunk. I did the modification early on in my life with the Camaro. Back then I didn't know as much as I do now and I ended up getting a generic battery box that is much too large for the battery I used.
This time I know better. I got a battery box sized specifically for my battery and it will make for a very clean installation. Some cars really need the room in the engine bay for a radiator and that is why I will be doing this project. The moved weight is just a bonus.
