I have been in my off time for the past couple of months looking for my first project car. I have a couple of ideas for what I want, but nothing is set in stone. It might be a truck, an early muscle car or perhaps the worst idea, a four door roadster.

I want a bad @$$ car I can call my own, one that leaks oil, doesn't start when i need it to, and be a general all around nuisance, but it will be my nuisance. I want a car that, unlike the Acura I now drive, will spin the tires if I choose to stomp on the go pedal. I want a car with a ratty interior, poorly done bondo body work and just the right amount of patina. I want to be scared a little by the blown suspension. I want to be unsure when i drive it to work, if I will make it on time or if the car will decide it wants to break down. I want a car that when you want to stop you have to think ahead. I want my miles per gallon to be in the single digits.

To most people it sounds like I want a headache, but I think most people who read this will understand I just want to have fun.

I will keep everyone posted as I save every penny I can to get my dream car, or I should say a car close enough that I can actually afford.
